For the past few days I’ve been hitting the pavement in New York City with the specific intention of getting things crackin for P-Money stateside. Assisting me on this endeavour is my good man Mr Andy Murnane aka YDNA of Dawn Raid and riding shotgun is the homie Monsta G (a very talented artist in his own right). I don’t wanna divulge too much at this stage (I believe in the jinx!) but trust we are putting in some solid foundations.
I’m really enjoying working alongside Andy, a person whose ambition matches my own. We’ve watched each other grow, been competitors and co-conspirators pushing New Zealand artists forward. Our approaches, aesthetic, taste and style are often opposed but the end goal is always the same. We share a passion for music and this business, so it was only a matter of time until we could work together on something big.
As the pieces come together and shit gets locked down I will share more but for now I just felt it best to check in and keep the blog alive!
